This famous Shani Dev Mandir is in Kokila Van in Kosi Kalan near Mathura (U.P). Especially on every Saturday thousands of devotees visit this place to take the blessings of Shani Dev. Shani Dev is son of Surya Dev.
It is belief s that Shani Dev only creates trouble on those people who do bad Karmas; otherwise he is very kind and helping. Shani Dev easily gets happy and spread his blessings on Devotees. It’s said that all troubles, problems, obstacles of life (if any) will disappeared if Shani Dev be happy and shower his blessings.
From Shani Dev temple, Mathura is approximately 40 K.M and devotees do visits Shani Dev Temple, whenever they plan to visit Mathura.
In Kokila Van there are few more temples apart from Shani Dev like - Shri Bihariji Temple, Shri Giriraji Temple, Shri Navgrah Temple and temple of Shri Barkhandi Baba. It’s said that Shri Barkhandi Baba was the guru of Shani Dev.
Especially on Saturday’s Devotees arrange Bhandara upon fulfilling there wishes by Shani Dev and promise Shani Dev to do gud Karmas.
In this world there are only two main temples of Shani Dev (1st) Shri Shirnapur, near Shridi (2nd) Kokila Van, Kosi Kalan (Mathura).
I have visited this holy place first time on 07.02.2010 and wish that Shri Shani Dev shower his blessings on me and allow me to visit his holy temple again and again.
